This Buckfast queen derives from true-bred parents that are offspring from artificially inseminated queens selected for varroa resistance and other beneficial properties. The F1 queen was fertilized naturally at the apiary, which consists primary of beecolonies with high varroa resistance. This queen is suited for both production and breeding.
